While January may not be a favorite month for many, I’m finding that I look forward to January more and more every year. While I love all the joy and light that the holidays bring, there is something so relaxing about a reset after the busyness of the season. Winter isn’t a particularly busy time, but it does provide time to rest, recover, and catch up on some things that may have been put on the back burner while shopping, cooking and gift wrapping were the priority.

For this winter’s bucket list, I’ve got a mix of resting, organizing, school work and family time. Once spring hits, it’s a busy time of events and getting ready for our baby to arrive, so this is the time I have to rejuvenate for a very busy season ahead. If I spend it hibernating, then so be it.
