March Highlights

This March has been a busy but good one. I don’t know where half of it went, to be honest, but I do know that I’ve enjoyed it. The weather alone has been a wonderful change and I’m so looking forward to April.

Union game.

On March 1st, I had the opportunity to attend the home opener for the Philadelphia Union. It was absolutely freezing, but such a fun experience and our seats were incredible. I’ve been wanting to attend a game for a while - well, ever since Ted Lasso came out, obviously - and it was so worth being outside on a chilly night.

first bonfire.

On a warmer Friday this month, we had our first bonfire of the year in our backyard. It was the perfect evening, very little wind, and a lovely start to spring. Our fire pit is one of our favorite parts of our backyard and it’s so nice to enjoy our evenings outside when the weather gets warmer.

work trip.

This month, I went on my first work trip to Jacksonville, Florida. It was a quick, two-day trip, but a lovely time to enjoy a bit of sun and a breezy 71 degrees, while it was rainy and 45 degrees at home. It was also lovely to see our team members from Florida in person and catch up.

outside time.

With the rising temperatures, I’ve been able to spend my afternoons with Will outside in the yard. He loves to sit on the front porch watching cars and trucks go by, almost as much as he likes to climb and swing.

first Rita’s.

While I sadly missed the first day of spring free Rita’s, due to a busy schedule and a rainstorm, I was able to swing by and pick up some gelatis for myself and Elliot on a sunny afternoon this past week. We sat out on our front porch and enjoyed our treats in the sun for a few minutes. It was absolutely lovely. Rita’s is one of our favorite treats in the summer and it feels like a mini date every time we get to enjoy some water ice together.
