April Highlights
Spring is in full-force, made evident by the sporadic changes in weather we’ve been experiencing lately. The pollen is equally forceful this springIt’s been a busy month, so I’ll get right into my April Highlights!
Garden.
Earlier in March, I started my seeds and grew little sprouts for my garden. This past week, I planted those unruly adolescents into my raised garden bed outside. This year, I’m growing zucchini, lettuce and kale, and I can’t wait to see how they grow!
The Adam Project.
We finally got around to checking out this new movie on Netflix, and I was honestly so surprised at how good it was. I’m not usually impressed by Netflix movies, and as much as I like Ryan Reynolds, some of his movies aren’t my favorite. This one was hands-down, a WINNER. It was exciting, it made me cry, and the cast was amazing. If you’re looking for a movie for your next movie night, check it out.
Self-Tan.
Okay, so I bought myself a self-tanner and it is AMAZING. It’s super easy, smells good, and gives me a de-light-ful glow. It’s called Coco & Eve and comes with a glove to apply it evenly. It lasted several days and I just felt like a whole new human. Here’s the link!
New Laptop Bag.
Backstory: Elliot and I cheated a little bit this year and exchanged gifts a tad early. Our third anniversary is in May, and for those of you who follow the traditional gifts, it’s the leather anniversary. We usually skip the traditional gifts, but....we both LOVE leather. It was as good a reason as any to exchange some fun gifts.
Elliot bought me the most beautiful leather laptop bag I’ve ever seen. It is soft and supple, smells like heaven and HAS A CUPHOLDER. Yes, my new work bag has a built-in cupholder because I am a pack mule who is always carrying a cup or two. It’s just a sight to behold and is easily my new favorite thing.

I listened to this song for the first time on Easter morning and it brought tears to my eyes. I just love everything about it and yes, I’ve listened to it about 47 times since then.
