I did it, guys.
I finally reached by reading goal - 50 books in a year.
I’ve been attempting this for 3 years. Last year I came so close with 49.
I am absolutely delighted with this little achievement of mine, and even more delighted with the books I’ve read this year. It’s really been one of the best groups of books I’ve ever read. I will say, I think I peaked in Q3 with the best books of the year (or ever, if I’m being honest), but Q4 has been a bunch of fun books that I really enjoy.
If you haven’t already noticed, I like seasonality. I’ve got quite a few mysteries for spooky season, and I’m working on a couple Christmas ones now!
Without further ado - here’s the last list of 2023!
Q4 READING LIST
The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley - 2.5/5
Beach Read by Emily Henry - 5/5
Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown - 4.5/5
A Deadly Affair by Agatha Christie - 3.5/5
Trial of the Sun Queen by Nisha J Tuli - 4/5
Still Life by Louise Penny - 4/5
The Perfect Marriage by Jeneva Rose - 4/5

If you’re wondering how I can read 50 books in a year and still have room in my house, here’s my little PSA for the day.
I read on a Kindle, and I borrow almost all of my books from the library. I use the Libby app, and it sends books directly to my phone and Kindle, or I can listen to an audiobook right on the app. All you need is your local library card and a smartphone, and you’re set!
